Concepts of Universal Design and Aging in Place were practiced as we reconfigured the main floor of this home, converting a powder room into a full bathroom, and creating a closed office/guest room space for parents to use when visiting. The entire main floor was remodeled - Bedroom/Office, Full Bathroom, Living Room, Mudroom, Kitchen, and Dining Room, to give a bright, calm, modern feel. The entire second floor was remodeled. The Primary bedroom, bathroom, and closet was re-configured, which provided more space to the bedroom, a walk-in closet, and a more open bathroom concept. The laundry room and kid's bathroom also got a full remodel, as well as new paint for all bedrooms, doors, trim, and new lighting throughout.
