For this project my client already had the major pieces (the dining set and buffet) but she wanted to finish the space - to make it more interesting and reflect the personal tastes of her family. Since this is a dining room, their love of wine was a natural basis for selections.
We added warmth with brown and metallic gold diamond patterned wallcovering and beautifully embroidered drapery panels.
Decorating was based on a very symmetrical layout, and incorporated the personalities of glam (in the crystal pair of lamps, glass canisters, and bold artwork) as well as vintage (in the antique wine crate and serving tray, as well as the crackled leather mirror). The hydrangea florals and greenery bring life to the room and soften the edges.
The end result is a beautiful first impression.
