The re-design for this coastal property provided the client with a number of outdoor spaces on a very small site. The project capitalized on the topography to create outdoor terracesleading to the docks. The terraces provided an outdoorkitchen and patio area nearest the house and a lower, smaller patio area for a fire pit. A small lawn area closest to the water’s edge was framed with coastal plantings.

The client has access to all four sides of the property but also has privacy from neighbors and an abutting right-of-way through the location of vegetation screens. The front of the house contains a raised sand filter Individual Sewage Disposal System which is camouflaged through landscape elements.
