Homeowners in Houston, Texas wanted to create a wine room that was a dramatic focal point of their main living space. Their vision came to life with this beautiful design for their 8’ by 8’ space which accommodates just over 1,000 bottles. With frameless glass on three sides, the wine room is visible from the front door, formal dining room, living room, and adjacent kitchen. Two large glass doors provide easy access to the space from both the living room and kitchen.

Vintage View racks were utilized in this wine room with wall mounted triple-deep racks along the back and floor-to-ceiling mounted, two-sided racks on the front and sides. The dark walls are finished with a gorgeous faux Venetian plaster finish that gives it a matte velvet look that adds a dramatic effect against the matte black wine racks. Dimmable LED lighting throughout, finishes the room, adding to the ambiance.
