Eagle Rock Residence

An orthopedic surgeon and his wife asked me to design a 3400 square foot home with a rustic exterior but a bright light interior, using European plaster, dark reclaimed beams sparsely set throughout the home, an antique French stone mantle and a culinary kitchen. The lower level has formal dining just off the wine cellar, which is built with reclaimed brick and custom iron doors. The home sleeps eight and is welcoming for their extended family. The home itself overlooks a draw of mature aspens and has nearly continuous exposure from east to west as the sun crosses overhead.
