In designing this light-filled Whitefish Lake House, I drew from the Arts and Crafts Era. A stone chimney became the centerpiece, with a tower that looked south toward Glacier National Park. A steeply sloping site posed challenges that became creative design features of a home tucked into the hillside with two stories of windows overlooking Whitefish Lake.
