Family farmhouse renovation, multiple additions, complete remodel. Every existing room was renewed, reworked and restyled. New windows, doors, exterior siding, landscaping, pavement work, patio and driveway.
Materials
Kitchen: solid white oak floors (rift and quartered), hand made custom solid maple cabinetry (inset style with painted finish), HanStone Blackburn Quartz perimeter countertops, Opalescence granite dual islands and desk area countertops, Kohler sinks, Moen faucets, Feiss Urban Renewal window pendant lights. Appliances from Wolf, Sub-Zero, Kitchen Aid, Sharp, and Vent-A-Hood.
Supplied by the homeowner: marble back splash tile, island and dining lights, and cabinet hardware.
Flooring: The solid white oak floors (rift and quartered) continue through the sun room, great room, master bedroom, and master walk-in closet. Karastan carpet is in each bedroom, and on the stairs (going upstairs and going downstairs). The rest of the home has tiled floors: some areas have natural cleft slate stone and some areas have porcelain tile.
Other material details
Custom closets and cabinetry, not including the kitchen, are made with solid quarter sawn oak wood.
Kohler sinks and Moen faucets were used throughout, except the powder bathroom Grohe faucet.
Interior lighting fixtures provided by Feiss, Meyda, Hubbardton Forge, Elk and Craftmade.
All bathroom countertops are granite, Delicatus Brown and Blue Pearl colors.
The laundry room features two clothes washers with one dryer, a large sink, clothes folding and hanging areas, under cabinet lighting, and access to the outdoor clothes line.
All the interior stairway and loft railings, the fireplace mantle, and pillars were hand made on site.
Real stone is on the fireplace, interior and exterior pillars, and exterior walls of the kitchen addition.
Two of the bathrooms have waist-height tiled walls with glass mosaic tile accents.
The master bathroom walk-in shower has dual shower stations with a mosaic marble floor, which ties into an air tub with a marble deck and surround.
