This roomy lake home has multiple lounging areas for a perfect weekend get-a-way with the entire family. Classic styling paired with timeless finishes ensures years of carefree leisure and comfort.
From Karastan carpet, to Manning tile, to hand-scraped hardwood, the carefully selected flooring materials withstand paws and sneakers alike. Even the Cambria quartz kitchen countertops invite guests and chefs to get creative and spread out.
Kitchen:
Rustic cherry custom hand made cabinetry, Cambria quartz Laneshaw countertops, Kohler Hartland undermounted sink, Delta Victorian faucet, Sherwin-Willams Balanced Beige wall paint, Hickory cabinet hardware, solid wood hand-scraped birch flooring, appliances from Bosch, Sharp and Samsung, Minka Lavery island lights and an Uttermost New Orleans dining light. Tiled backsplash, plus all the furniture and decorations were provided by the talented home owner.
The other flooring materials from the R. Tews Construction showroom consist of more Mannington tile, natural real slate, and cozy Karastan carpet.
Minka lighting was also used in the garage entry room, laundry room, master walk in closet, master bathroom water closet, basement bathroom and bedrooms, plus for some of the exterior fixtures. The other light fixtures came from Kichler (ceiling fans, hallways) Hinkley (fireplace), Progress (foyer), Feiss (office, 4 season, master bathroom), Craftmade (pantry, some exterior), George Kovacs (half bath) and Kenroy (guest bathroom).
The Balanced Beige wall paint color also went in the master bedroom, foyer, great room, and hallways. The other paint colors are Sherwin-Williams Anew Gray (sunroom, rec room), Lemon Verbena (office, half bath), plus Benjamin Moore Litchfield Gray (bedroom accent walls, master bathroom, guest bathroom), Azores (bedroom accent wall, laundry room, basement bathroom).
Cambria quartz Cantebury is the master vanity countertop, and all the other countertops are assorted colors of cultured marble-granite or Formica 180fx laminate.
Rustic alder cabinetry is also in the guest bathroom, master bathroom and the wet bar. Only the laundry room is painted solid maple, finished in Sherwin-Williams Mega Griege. The furniture style half bath vanity is rustic alder wood. All the cabinetry is custom hand made.
Kohler plumbing products were also used in the master bathroom (Ledges undermounted sinks) and laundry room (Cruette faucet). Moen Kingsley is in the master walk in shower, and an Arbor faucet is used in the wet bar. Other plumbing fixtures used were from Elkay (Dayton sink in laundry room), a Pfister Carnegie faucet and Fairmont Framingham sink/top is on the half bath vanity, Mirabelle Provincetown faucets are with the master vanity sinks, and a Delta Cassidy faucet is in the guest bath.
Outside, there is cultured stone for siding and pillar accents (fireplace, too), paired with LP SmartSide.
Immense detail was put into the lakeside patio and firepit. Large natural boulders border the entire sweeping landscape of realistic stamped and dyed concrete, lounge area and trail alongside the home. Chiseled stairs lead to a meandering hand laid flat stone path, to the shoreline.
