Empty Nest

Craftsman style Rambler, was designed for a retired client with full Age In Place considerations in mind with an array of accessibility options. The house was carefully sited in a wooded lot to take advantage of the trees and the quiet seclusion of a lake frontage, encompasses all the amenities of the modern, Efficient living. The open floor plan creates a sense of connection, between all the daily spaces of the home, through the use of arches while various ceiling configurations, articulate each space as individual room with its own character. The cathedral ceiling in the Great room with tall curves windows and the 4-season porch in the back with the curved vaulted ceiling are a few examples. The home is designed with an elevator to provide full accessibility to the lower walk-out level which includes the family room, a bar for additional casual entertainment space, and additional three bedrooms and two baths
