Encinitas Storybook Garden
Our client's corner home in Encinitas was experiencing flooding during storms. Water would run off the streets onto her property and sit next to the foundation until it percolated into the soil. Her existing drains were clogged and she no longer wanted her front lawn.
Instead of shunting all that precious rainwater away from the house and into the storm drain, we build a recycled concrete two-level terrace to accept the water and infiltrate it into the landscape.
We also installed three rainwater tanks and a 1000 gallon underground pondless water feature that is fed by the roof.
