This large new build garden was laid to turf and sloped steeply towards the perimeter fencing. The brief was for terracing on the sloping areas to provide attractive areas for planting, seating and playing.

Our design incorporated:-

Sleeper walls to form terraced areas, with steps and walkways for ease of access and maintenance.
Decking on second level for seating and site for a future playhouse.
Climbing wall and slide from decked area into contained rubber playbark.
Plants for year round interest in the large terraced planters.
Rocks and plants for additional interest in raised bed outside living area.

The project provided an area of huge visual impact and made full use of the sloped areas surrounding the perimeter of the garden.
The sleeper terrace to one side and extensive raised bed to the other provided large attractive areas for planting.
The raised decking and play areas provided spaces that the whole family can enjoy.
