Falling in love all over again
The owners of this beautiful kitchen and laundry renovation have fallen in love all over again – and who can blame them! This gorgeous new kitchen and laundry really packs a punch with its strong block colour and sense of design confidence.
The owners worked closely with the talented Robyn Henderson, Trends Kitchens designer, and were confident with the decisions they made around design and colour choice. The TriStone benchtop in Chalcedony features a waterfall end, something the client always knew she wanted. The washing machine and dryer are hidden behind a tall cabinet – a simple way to hide the clutter and leaves guests none the wiser.
“Working with Mike & Yvonne on their circa 60s renovation was inspiring. It was made all the more successful because they were open to ideas while knowing what they needed to make their new kitchen work for them,” Robyn says. “After removing two walls and an outside door this opened up the existing kitchen footprint to reflect a modern open space for us to build a streamlined kitchen/laundry that functions well with plenty of bench space and storage. We managed to get a seamless look from kitchen to laundry and eliminated the “added to” look by carrying the 60s style patterned coving around the new cabinetry.”
