One of our talented designers Sarah Molyneux worked closely with two interior designers to create this stunning kitchen for the Online Design & Build Christchurch South showhome in Falcons Landing. “Our focus was choosing grey colours that made the wall colour pop, as the kitchen is in the open-plan living and dining area,” Sarah begins. “A light-coloured TriStone benchtop was chosen to allow the kitchen to flow nicely with the wall tiles, and at the same time brighten the space against the darker walls and cabinetry. The timber shelves were our way of bringing warmth to the space. We kept lines and handles to a minimum by having fewer drawers in the island with internal drawers inside. We wanted a nice clean island and decided to split the back wall into defined areas; one for cooking with the hob and oven, and the other for washing. The hob and sink are central on both benches.”
