Falmouth Renovation
This was an "upside down" house that was purchased in Falmouth, the location was magnificent, but the interior needed a complete renovation. The back of the house faces a beautiful marsh, so we installed floor to ceiling french doors through the entire back of the house. We moved the stair case to allow for a spacious family room, and we built a cozy banquette that would accommodate up to 8 people.
We decided to keep the exposed rafters in the ceiling as well as the wall paneling, and we had them sprayed white for a fresh clean look. The kitchen and bathrooms were completely gutted and redone, the back hallway was reconfigured to add some privacy to the master bedroom. For a color scheme we wanted to play off of the view , so we worked with watery blues and greens, creams and whites, and paired this all with warm wood tones.
