This painting is like a journal with various stories from my life. It's very silly, creative and whimsical. It's called "La Chaussette du roi" because I'm originally from a very traditional French family, and I could see in my own painting, like a big colorful sock on the left side.

This painting is 48 x 72 in big. A person is meditating and his thoughts seem to become part of the landscape. He's in total harmony with nature, with his surroundings. Is it his mental landscape that we're seeing? It's deep and rich and elaborate.

I painted this crowd as if people were floating in the air, going back and forth between heaven and earth. People are light and joyful.

I represented this beautiful woman, wearing an superb dress that looks like a peacock tail. She's dancing freely and has left behind all her worries, her everyday chores and duties. She is here, now, enjoying life.
