The homeowner wanted to breathe new life into the family room fireplace. A fresh coat (make that 4 coats) of paint really makes this wall pop. We shopped locally for mantle pieces, keeping the homeowner's family photo as the centerpiece. Candle pillars add height, a new decorative mirror adds a reflective accent, the circular natural branches give movement and visual texture and the metal basket on the hearth holds magazines, blankets or toys.
