Powder Room Makeover
This powder room was dark and desperate for an update. The purple color was fun for a while but the dark color against all the white finishes just didn't match the feel of the home.
The homeowner wanted a calm, clean look to match the other updates and cohesive color palate which is infused throughout the rest of the home. We took to the basement to see what we could find. We used paint from previous projects to change the whole feel of the space. The ceiling and trim got a fresh coat of white and the walls were treated to a cool dove grey. The homeowner is a real DIYer so the cotton branches were made from materials found in the art bin. A metal basket with chalkboard plaque was hiding on a shelf being unused.
The new store bought mirror really became the focal point and acted as inspiration to join natural element for a calm feel.
