Fonthill Fabric Collection | Spring 2014

In 2006, Stark Carpet acquired the Fonthill Fabric brand, along with fabric and wallcovering company Grey Watkins. This acquisition gave rise to the first fabric division of Stark, Stark Fabric.

An enduring name in the market for designer textiles and stylish fabrics, Fonthill Fabrics are known for their fine and exclusive collections, designed for the most beautiful of interiors – from the cozy home to the most luxurious of living spaces. Fonthill Fabrics is known for their exclusive, complete collection of world-class fabrics, which include the timeless prints of the classical period to the more adventurous weaves of contemporary times. To achieve the same exclusivity in quality and design which has characterized the brand for many years, most the Fonthill Fabric selections are designed and produced in old European mills. This is done to maintain the strictest and the highest in design and workmanship standards. This fabric division of Stark Fabric is known for their beautiful chenilles, chenille jacquards, tapestries and silk embroideries, paisley wovens, and matelasse. The collections are known for their sumptuous colorways depicting warm earth tones and bright jewel tones, which include browns, reds, greens, ivory, and tangerine. Delicious color selections also include Truffle, Taupe, and Tobacco.

Fonthill Fabrics is also a distributor of some of the most renowned European brands. These include fabrics and textiles from Thomas Dare, Ottilie Stevenson, and Etro as well as Wendy Cushings trimmings, and Alexander Beauchamp and Paper Library wallpapers.

Fonthill Fabrics have also been featured in various magazines across the U.S., including House Beautiful, House & Garden, and other design publications.
