What is R-TEC?

R-TEC is a 100% wool, custom, made-to-order program—manufactured on a machine that simulates a Wilton. The maximum width is 13’2. It can be any 1 or 2 colors and any design.

This product is unique due to the minimum order quantity. This product can be made as a finished rug with or without border or made for wall to wall installation.
There are (2) different qualities that are available:
> R-TEC Normal Quality: can be 1 or 2 colors, similar to 450 wt hand tufted
> R-TEC Extra Quality: can only be 1 color, similar to 550 wt hand tufted

Even though this product can be max two colors, there are various techniques the mill can use in order to achieve other looks. The mill is able to space dye—which gives the product a stria look. You can have both cut and loop, all cut or all loop pile in design—which creates a light/dark affect. The mill can also carve the design or tip shear the yarn. The mill has (5) natural yarns that are available for R-TEC—giving the product a more natural look (the natural yarns cannot be custom colored).
