Form & Flow
Capturing the essence of and honoring the waters of Las Trampas Creek, this garden features an elegant rain garden with bubbling boulder fountain, surrounded by 100% oak woodland planting. Overflow of the rain garden flows into the creek.
To recreate the heritage landscape, thirsty dead sod was transformed into low water, low maintenance native bent grass sod with subsurface drip irrigation.
The spacious new bluestone patio provides ample room for entertaining large groups, and intimately connects the home with a dynamic native habitat. A lovely space to be on a hot summer day.
