An adjacent walk-in closet, built by taking away some of the large four-season room behind. CHIC built wall partitions to fit exactly IKEA PAX units for a very neat and affordable custom look. The glass windows and doors in the master bathroom allow natural light in this otherwise blind room.

In a small bedroom, each inch counts: IKEA PAX units come handy to store away toys and clothes.

This wood stove must be at least 35-year old, but CHIC decided to keep it for its "geeky" look. The room seems to says: "Hey, I love my vintage bits!". Frank Lloyd Wright-inspired chandelier completes this timeless room.

A room should reflect who you are and have stories to tell. CHIC found the red cabinet at the local Salvation Army. It was solid oak, but with a dirty grey finish. It was stripped, doors and flimsy back removed, and refinished with Old Masters Crimson Fire gel stain.

A funky piece of furniture, like this blue leather chair, can find its place anywhere, either classic or contemporary settings.

Bamboo flooring is a durable and elegant

When CHIC told their contractor to use bamboo flooring as a backspash, the contractor thought he was gettinig deaf. But bamboo is very durable, easy to clean, very water resistant, and warms up the space like nothing else.
