This spacious, sun-filled living room was a great inspiration to create a formal sitting room where the owners could entertain their guests and play traditional Chinese Guzheng. The owners were open to a contemporary design, but it was also important to celebrate the cultural heritage of one of the owners. I created a space that is formal and still inviting, combining contemporary lines and surfaces with traditional artwork and decor accent.
