The perimeter of the pool is going to incorporate more curves and might not even have a single straight line. These curves and arches create the perfect nook for tropical palms and plants to be places to bring the lush greenery right to the water’s edge.
The natural look of a freeform pool is similar to a natural pond, so the addition of natural boulders in the pool coping is always appropriate. And a lagoon style pool is the perfect location for a giant rock waterfall and grotto. Some homeowners even go a step further and add a slide into larger waterfalls. And nothing adds authenticity to a lagoon style pool at night like the addition of a few fire pots and tiki torches.
