This garden had solid "bones" to begin with - a berm, mature trees, and nice hedges. What it lacked was color and that 'wow' factor. We removed old roses on the berm and planted a variety of new perennials in the center (peonies, baptisia, sedum, and hosta). We created annual planting areas leading up to the front porch for all-summer color. We planted tulips for spring color, and provide on-going maintenance to assure these gardens are always looking their best.
