This front entry way was a haven for ice dams and slippery steps from the ice run-off. TMK Remodeling custom designed a portico to give this cape a stunning new look while providing safe passage for the owner and guests. The project scope included removal of the existing aluminum awning, existing concrete stoop and iron handrails, and installing 4' concrete footings, new pre-cast stone and granite stair, and custom building the portico, hand rails, clad in PVC trim and tied into roof and gutter system. A bead board ceiling and updated light fixture provide the finishing touches.
