Front Entry Renovation

Rebuilding the front entry of the house due to severe foundations problems on this 80 year old brick home. Photo of new entry foyer, widened, removing the brick wall that had failed.

Before photo showing the extent of cracking in the brick walls (built in the traditional 12" thick masonry walls with plaster interior finish). Some cracks were as large as 1" wide.

Front Entry Renovation

New front entry is larger, and uses patterned 2-color brick to better fit the existing 80 year old brick that is no longer made. Arched front door is reused.

Before photo showing original smaller front entry. Entire wall to left of entry had severe cracking due to foundation problems. The new front entry removes the problem wall and makes a much larger entry foyer and front porch.
