Through a harmonious creative connection, Piperbear was approached about hosting a house concert and music vide for the Richmond based band, Rumput.

Rumput plays keroncong (a string-band tradition from Indonesia) and produce multimedia performances involving traditional and original music paired with shadow theater comprising elements of American and Indonesian traditions — crankies (scrolling panoramas) and wayang (shadow puppets).who plays keroncong (a string-band tradition from Indonesia).

We took one of our favorite apartments on Floyd Avenue, and designed the space with an Indonesian theme, mid century modern furniture, and framed water color paintings by Warren Biancardi, a Long Island based artist from the 1970's.
