The beauty of owning a futon is it's flexibility in updating the look as well as it's comfort, longevity, and functionality. A futon set package consists of your choice of futon frame, the finish of the frame, the futon mattress upgrade, the futon cover, and accessories like bottom drawers and accent pillows. If the mattress wears out, no problem, get a replacement mattress. A futon is more comfortable than a convertible sofa bed because the mattress is separate from the frame. Or, you can with the premium HD foam futon mattresses that are lighter in weight and last 10 plus years!
A futon can cost as little as $300 or as much as $1,500. It all depends on the quality of frame and mattress you choose.
