The site is located in a Waterway, an inlet that opens up to the Bay. The existing home had native coral rock landscape features. The Clients are family oriented and required outdoor entertainment areas including a pool/spa and rebuilding the existing natural stone site features.
Working with Clients, Architect and General Contractor, Landscape Architect all existing stone features were salvaged . Natural stone is a green building material, refurbishing them contributed to the site’s environmental stability.
Landscape Architect and Architect in collaboration, located the cabana, pool and deck which provide outdoor dining area and walkways that connect the main entry, garage area, rear pool area and lower dock area. Walking through this walkway an element of surprise becomes visible, a small intimate seating area hidden behind the pool gazebo. The pool has a backdrop wall with water cascading and the spa was built into the pool at bellow water level.
