A new dwelling constructed the old British Properties residential neighbourhood in West Vancouver.

The site sloped dramaticallyfrom backyard to frontyard. The client requested a dwelling that was integrated into the landscape and wouldn’t be imposing at the entry. We worked with the client to set the building into the slope to take advantage of grading to reduce the scale of the house. Additionally we were able to use the grade to create intimate exterior spaces around the house.
