This was once a dark enclosed kitchen. We opened up the space by removing a wall that separated the kitchen from a small dining area and added a large picture window over the sink. Upper cabinets with glass shelves add additional light. By placing a sink in the island, it’s the perfect place to prep food with plenty of storage underneath that’s close at hand. The kitchen is now the hub of this home!
