The rough-hewn cedar trusses in this Grapevine home had been originally stained a dark orange-brown. Dallas-based interior designer Charlotte Comer decided to update the open kitchen and living room with a softer gray palette, so she wanted to soften the beams with a weathered gray painted finish.
