The owners desired an open kitchen for entertaining with views of their garden, a comfortable master suite, and a home that was more environmentally responsible. A small addition on the kitchen allowed for an open design and a powder bath. The rear dormer was enlarged for a master bedroom and bathroom. Every material was selected for aesthetic value and impact to the environment, including energy efficient appliances and dual-flush toilets.
