Grey Croft

This was a transformative remodel / addition project which changed my small plain weekend house of 1,500 square feet to a 3,500 square foot rather substantial home. The house is similar in style and feel to the Edwardian lodges that were built in rural America in the mid to late 1800s. It has sophistication yet is somewhat rustic which relates well to it's remote, and wooded setting.

Formal dining room is less formal when opened to the kitchen - guests and cooks are always together. Cathedral ceiling over ding table gives lots of room for the chandelier.

This was the house in 1938 which was a hunting cabin at that time. This cabin is still a part of the house today it's now a guest bedroom. You can see these same 2 windows in the series of photo showing the growth of the house - they are just behind the Land Rover in the before photo.
