For this project in Detroit’s Corktown, the goal was to transform a dated, underutilized primary bathroom into a serene, spa-like retreat that better reflected our client’s moody style and delivered the functionality they truly needed. The original footprint featured a sauna that went unused, a tiny shower, and an oversized tub, features that no longer served their lifestyle or matched the gritty-yet-polished vibe of their loft.

Our client envisioned a steam shower, more storage, and a bathroom that felt like a calming escape at the end of the day. To bring that vision to life, we reimagined the entire layout: removing the sauna, replacing the jacuzzi with a spacious steam shower, and expanding the closet to create more functional storage. A dramatic built-in storage wall anchors the space, delivering a custom look without the custom price tag.
