For this busy household, the materials were everything– a neutral palette and fabric with built in stain resistance. A neglected front room became a dynamic “theatre room,” complete with custom walnut doors to help block out sound. But the undeniable heart of the home is the modern kitchen, where the perfect island lets kids and parents enjoy time together even as meals take shape, juiced up with playful splashes of orange.
