For this kitchen renovation, we removed a load bearing wall between what was the dining room and the family room. By removing the wall, we were able to move the kitchen from the center of the home (previously a tiny galley kitchen) to this huge kitchen with multiple levels and design features.

We removed the original 1 1/4" oak hardwood flooring from where the cabinets are on the outside wall to patch the hardwood where the wall was removed. We installed a structural beam, drywall, paint, trims, cabinets, counter tops, lighting inside cabinets and under cabinets, feature cabinets, plumbing and electrical.
