In removing the overload of mirrors from this formerly dowdy floral bathroom, the team at 24 Construction & Design actually made the room feel lighter, brighter, and as crisp and clean as the client dreamed. Its most striking feature is the alcove that encloses the shower and ¾ size tub, which is clad in wide horizontal bands of textured tile. An open grain wood pattern in a light bleached grey color alternates with darker, tightly mottled grooves to great effect, unifying the area that is otherwise separated by a half wall.

Snow white walls, sink, custom-built vanity, Caesarstone counter, tub, and bleached wood flooring create a streamlined base for the attention-grabbing wall opposite, while extensive custom woodwork like the single panel door, crown molding, door and window trim, and storage shelves bring a cozy feel to the space.
