McCadden Place, LA Bathroom Remodeling
A Complete renovation of this 1920's Hancock Park home that features 4 beds /4 baths with 3,808 sf of living space on a sprawling 8,700 sf lot.
While it was designed in white and neutrals, 24 Construction & Design created loads of visual interest in this master bath renovation by playing with scale and texture to define the space. A wall of horizontal grooved wall tile unifies the glass shower and huge soaking tub, which are otherwise separated by a half-wall clad in oversized ivory tile topped with a white Caesarstone ledge. Earthy brown marble tile on the main floor and shower floor share a mottled look, but in wildly different scales.
The horizontal grooves in the bathing area contrast with the vertical wallcovering behind the vanity, where white Caesarstone appears again to help unite all the elements of the room. The dual vanity was custom-designed for the space and finished to complement the color scheme in a light grey.
