Hare Avenue Renovation
This renovation project of the main floor done in 2013 was the revitalization of a tired 1960's home in Ottawa West. The renovation work was project managed by Holitzner Custom Homes and the designs were done by Caroline Castrucci.
The customers were a young couple who wanted something modern that still worked with the age and style of the home, so we decided on using Walnut as the main species of wood in a simple door style. We used Walnut in both the powder room and the kitchen. The kitchen is accented in a light grey high gloss slab door. Quartz counter tops from Cambria were installed by Urban Quarry, Whitehall in the powder room and Waverton in the Kitchen. The powder room was painted with Elephant Tusk OC-8 from Benjamin Moore. The kitchen was painted in Stone Hearth CC-490 also from Benjamin Moore.
