We wanted to open up the space in this townhome remodel and give the client better access to their refrigerator. They were not able to take out shelves or bins due to the fact that their refrigerator door didn't fully open because it was too close to the wall. We created a more functional design that allowed us to remove the peninsula seating and replace it with an island which allowed for easier access to the patio and traffic flow for the kitchen.
