Overlooking the majestic Hudson River, the new owners of their 1960s homes were aiming for a complete remodel and custom build. To fulfill the owner's objectives of creating a modern aesthetic with a LEED mindset, the house was torn down to the foundation. We created a design with sustainable functionality; high energy efficiency, geothermal heating throughout the home, and the utilization of hydronic & passive solar energy components; all without sacrificing contemporary comfort. We transformed an outdated house into a sustainable riverfront oasis.
