The framework and top of this sideboard are made from black cherry, with contrasting drawer fronts and panels of curly maple. This piece features draw bored mortise and tenon construction with hand turned legs and drawer pulls. The drawer pulls are made of cherry and treated with iron acetate. Drawers are hand dovetailed with solid sides and bottoms of poplar. This piece would be equally at home serving as a hall table, as an addition to a kitchen, or in a dining room for which it was designed.
