High end condo in Ste-Adèle, Québec
Lyne Brunet had the opportunity to design and decorate this beautiful condo unit nested in the Laurentain mountains north of Montreal. When the contractor presented the finished product to the prestigious Domus contest which is held in the great Montreal region, he won the first price. It was in 2011 for the $250,000.00 to $500,000.00 condo category.
Lyne used 100 years old reclaimed floorboards to fabric the island. It was beautiful against the white kitchen cabinets.
She used as well some reclaimed wood to built the vanity in the master bathroom.
In the master bedroom, she built a "fake" fireplace to create a cozy atmosphere.
The whole project was fun to do, specially to give a farmhouse look to a new condo which has normaly a more contemporary look.
