An extensive remodel of a 1960 split-level for an elderly couple to age-in-place. An extensive re-configuration updated the home with an elegant but more accommodating space for gatherings and which are suited to the mobility and visual challenges aging can present. Particular attention was given to preserving the residents' dignity while considering the ongoing accommodation the home will need to provide.
