This two story home nestled amongst the trees wanted some daring attention. The homeowners have a love of bright abstract art with lots of movement, and they wanted their home to reflect that whimsy and intensity. The goal was to use a variety of different colors starting with their love of reds, blues, and grays. By using gray as the grounding color on the periphery of both rooms, variations on red and blue interrupted by complementary colors could be incorporated into the furnishings. This resulted in a lively, fun yet inviting space to watch TV and host guests. The homeowners framed photography above the sofa is the “window” to nature’s own vibrant colors!”
