Steve and Patty Hill found their great old 1950s mid-century home by the beach in Carpinteria… the place they wanted to settle down and retire. But, their home was too small, too dark, and too cut off from the outdoors to be livable for them. So, we found creative ways to expand their living space on their very tight lot, open up the rooms in the house to reach out to the surrounding landscape, and embrace the classic 50s mid-century style with a complete modern design transformation… helping them realize all the potential their new home could be for them.
