Originally a 1937 winter retreat in Scottsdale, AZ, James Abell, FAIA, LA was challenged to restore the original courtyard and private patios to their former southwestern glory. Customized gates, new garden walls, textured brick paving, gracious southwestern plant materials, and historic fountain restorations were all part of the design challenge. Winner of numerous design awards.
