ZDA developed a property-wide Land Management Plan that incorporated the client’s desired land uses and trail network with designated Forest Crop Lands, CRP lands, and wetlands. A summary of management protocol recommendations was included in our work to inform future development and investments.

Our work also focused on creating new outdoor living space around the historic homestead to unify the collection of historic buildings:

New entry patio and garden to link the main house and cottage.

Reclaimed barnstone walls create a secluded and inviting outdoor room overlooking the natural spring, wetland, and greater Driftless Area landscape.
