The design team, building committee and city of Chicago worked together to create an outdoor room that was in keeping with the historic status of this Lakeshore property. Our team utilized old architectural records and photographs to preserve as many historic details as possible. What manifested was a space that mixed contemporary materials and traditional detailing to make the space feel rich.
